The heart behind the sweets
Meet Ms. Lillie

Made with love.
Built with purpose.

Lillie Mae Smalls is an Army veteran and Ohio native who began selling her baked goods at Charleston-area pop-ups in 2019. Mae’s Sweets grew from her childhood memories of a neighborhood bakery and a belief that good food, warm service and familiar faces can make a place feel like home.

From pop-ups to a permanent home on Savannah Highway, Mae’s Sweets has been years in the making.
